  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Buying House, Garments, Group of Companies, Textile

Responsibilities & Context

A leading 100% export oriented RMG company is looking for a Senior Officer – Accounts, for it’s Head Office. The selected candidate will be responsible for the responsibilities mentioned below:

  • Managing day-to-day accounting operations with a primary focus on recording and processing various party bills, local and import-related bills, adjustment of work advances, cheque payment entries, and handling banking transactions.
  • Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting while supporting overall financial activities of the department.
  • Recording and processing various party bills with proper verification and documentation.
  • Handling local and import bills, ensuring accurate entry and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintaining and adjusting work advances, ensuring timely settlement and reconciliation.
  • Preparing and recording cheque payment entries in the accounting system.
  • Managing banking activities including cash and cheque withdrawal, deposits, and related documentation.
  • Maintaining proper records of all financial transactions and supporting documents.
  • Assisting in bank reconciliation and monitoring daily cash/bank balances.
  • Coordinating with internal departments and external parties regarding billing and payments.
  • Supporting month-end closing activities and preparing required reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and audit requirements.
  • Performing any other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned by management from time to time.
