Job Purpose
The position will successfully build and sustain strong partnerships with diverse employer organizations to ensure job placements and career development opportunities. This role will identify job prospects, anticipate future skill demands, facilitate placements, and enhance employer satisfaction. Additionally, the position will foster an environment conducive to promoting decent employment and ensuring sustainable livelihoods.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys to identify job opportunities and future skill demands by engaging with industry stakeholders and updating the employer database to ensure relevant and current information.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers by facilitating agreements and developing job requirement calendars to streamline recruitment efforts.
- Match learners’ profiles with employer needs by analyzing qualifications and skills and supporting placements or referrals to ensure successful job matches.
- Conduct post-placement surveys by gathering feedback from employers and learners and preparing detailed reports to enhance training and placement effectiveness.
- Organize job fairs, workshops, and stakeholder engagements by planning events and coordinating logistics to promote decent jobs and employee benefits.
- Support the Employment Manager by contributing to plans, reports, and partnership activities to achieve team objectives effectively.
- Collaborate with SDP operations by aligning program activities with job linkage strategies to ensure efficient and successful placements.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
