Requirements

Education

• Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Commerce (MCom)

• MBA/M.Com in Accounting from a reputed university.
• CA (CC) from a recognized Chartered Accountancy firm.

Experience

• At least 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Insurance

Additional Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a Life Insurance Company.
• Prior experience with ERP systems will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel functions, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of Insurance Act, related regulations, and SRO.
• Familiarity with VAT Deduction at Source (VDS) & Tax Deduction at Source (TDS).
• Excellent command over both English and Bengali (written and verbal).
• Strong leadership abilities and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask and perform accurately under pressure.

Responsibilities & Context

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including voucher preparation and data entry.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements and oversee all banking-related operations.
• Operate and maintain bank accounts and transactions.
• Handle preparation of all types of accounting vouchers, such as payment and receipt vouchers.
• Maintain accurate Books of Accounts, process payments, and balance ledger accounts.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.
