Responsibilities & Context

• *Production Planning and Control:*
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand forecasts.
• Ensure efficient utilization of resources and minimize downtime.
• Oversee inventory management and raw material procurement.
• *Process Optimization:*
• Continuously assess and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Quality Assurance:*
• Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives and corrective actions for any identified issues.
• *Supply Chain Management:*
• Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, production, warehousing, and distribution.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
• 5. *Logistics and Distribution:*
• Oversee the transportation and distribution of finished goods to customers.
• Optimize logistics routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
• *Team Leadership and Development:*
• Lead and mentor the operations team, including production managers, quality control personnel, and logistics staff.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• *Safety and Compliance:*
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental policies.
• Implement safety programs and conduct regular safety audits.
• *Performance Monitoring and Reporting:*
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for production, quality, and logistics.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management on operational performance, challenges, and improvements.
• *Technology and Innovation:*
• Identify and implement new technologies and automation to enhance manufacturing and distribution efficiency.
• Stay updated with industry trends and innovations.
• *Risk Management:*
• Identify potential risks in the production and distribution processes and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure business continuity plans are in place and regularly updated.
• *Strategic Planning:*
• Contribute to the development of the company’s strategic goals and align operational strategies accordingly.
• Participate in long-term planning for capacity expansion, product development, and market growth.
