Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Civil in Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

PMP, PMI, or equivalent are a plus

• Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology,Khulna University of Engineering and Technology,Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology,Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology,Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology students will get preference

Experience

• At least 7 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Engineering Firms, Real Estate, Group of Companies, Developer

Additional Requirements

• Age 28 to 50 years

• Proven track record of managing medium to large-scale projects successfully
• Have extensive experience with all types of structural and finishing work in both residential and commercial high-rise buildings with multiple levels of basement
• Candidate will get preference with having experience in the National Projects
• Software Skills: MS Project, MS Office Packages, AutoCAD etc.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• High level of integrity and self-motivation
• Ability to work under pressure
• Project Planning & Scheduling, Monitoring, Coordination, Contractor Management etc.

Responsibilities & Context

The Senior Project Engineer/Engineer will oversee, plan and execute construction projects in alignment with the organization’s goals and standards. This position ensures projects are completed on time, within budget and in compliance with all quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Management:

• Plan, schedule and coordinate project activities to meet deadlines and budget.

• Collaborate with architects, consultants and stakeholders to finalize project designs and specifications.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project scope, budgets and timelines.

Construction Supervision:

• Monitor daily site activities and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors and site teams to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively.

Resource Management:

• Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment and labor to optimize project efficiency.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower and resources to minimize wastage.

Quality Control and Compliance:

• Enforce quality control measures during all phases of construction.
• Ensure adherence to local building codes, regulations and environmental standards.
• Liaise with government bodies and regulatory authorities for necessary approvals and permits.

Reporting and Communication:

• Prepare and submit progress reports, cost estimates and project updates to management.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Address and resolve issues and conflicts promptly to maintain smooth project execution.

Safety and Risk Management:

• Implement and enforce safety protocols on-site.
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid project delays or failures.
