Additional Requirements

Technical Knowledge: Strong ability to read and interpret technical specification sheets (Tech Packs), measurement charts, and fabrics etc.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail to spot minor shading issues, yarn defects, and structural irregularities, all print/emb findings and approval.
Communication: Good verbal communication skills to explain defects to floor operators and report to management.
Familiarity with international buyer quality standards (e.g., H&M, Primark, Takko quality protocols).

Responsibilities & Context

Conduct regular inline/inspections at various stages of production, including fabric, stitching, and finishing.
Perform AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) sampling inspections on semi-finished and finished goods and reports daily basis to Team leader.
Identify defects such as fabrics, print, embroideries, shading variations, measurement deviations, and stains.
Measure garments against the approved buyer spec sheets and tech packs to ensure size accuracy.
Check stretch ability, rib recovery, and overall fit parameters specific to knitwear and woven.
Isolate defective pieces and immediately report systemic issues to the Floor Supervisor or Production Manager.
Work alongside the knitting and assembly teams to troubleshoot the root cause of recurring defects (e.g., machine malfunctions or yarn flaws).
Maintain accurate daily quality reports, defect logs, and inspection checklists.
Provide feedback to the Team lead Manager regarding production quality reports.
