- The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of garment fitting, pattern construction, production manufacturing, production machinery, and quality knowledge.
- They should also have reasonable communication and negotiation skills.
- Additionally, they must be capable of determining the consumptions of garments based on tech packs, offering remedial advice on detected discrepancies concerning workmanship and construction of garments and also providing solutions to fabric issues such as shading and weaving defects.
Responsibilities & Context
- Prepare and update Sweater specs, work out consumption based on buyer’s tech packs.
- Must have Keen Knowledge in different kind of gauge of sweater products.
- Keen Knowledge in different kind of sweater yarns, analyzing knitting, linking & mending – all type of sweaters
- Keen Knowledge and Expertise in sweater design chart, sweater technology, yarns count and consumption, measuring weight.
- Capable to solve technical problems of sweater during development & production stage.
- Must have knowledge about print, embroidery and others embellishment of Garments.
- Analyse quality defects and issue inspection report with clear comments.
- Monitor PP Meeting, size-set follow-up, line plan, inline inspection by maintaining organization standard
- Follow-up output plan and TNA, Monitor risk assessment, quality gap and drive by using process mapping and other applicable tools, check production plan, execution, ensure all delivery challan, testing report of all product to confirm quality conformance as well as any unauthorized activities
- Conduct and coordinate in-process inspection and final inspection in the Factory.
- Follow up Inline checking and reporting in the Knitting, linking, and finishing department.
- Rectify the defect and ensure the accurate shape and design of the product as per the client’s requirement.
- In-process and end line, quality control process Implement and monitor.
- Reduce the gap between pre-final inspection and final inspection.
