Additional Requirements
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience specializing in the design of complex medium to large-scale industrial, commercial, or residential buildings, with an emphasis on advanced steel and concrete structures.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Well-versed in BNBC-2020 and other critical standards, including but not limited to ASCE-2005, ASCE-2010, ACI 318-08, ACI 318-19, AISC 360-05, AISC 341-05, and AISC 358-05.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of relevant software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, RAM Connection, and RAM Elements.
Responsibilities & Context
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Take charge of commercial, managerial, and technical aspects of the project as a Senior Structural Engineer, ensuring all facets align with project goals.
- Structural Analysis and Design Management: Oversee the structural analysis and design of diverse concrete and steel structures, such as multi-story industrial, commercial, and residential buildings, as well as warehouses, focusing on complex engineering challenges and support systems.
- Engineering Innovation & Collaboration: Develop advanced engineering concepts and techniques, and proven ability to work effectively with architectural and MEP sub-consultants, with a solid understanding of the interdependencies between MEP, architectural, and structural designs.
- Knowledge of Construction Methods: Stay informed on the latest construction methods and materials, analyzing their impact on design strategies.
- Communication: Ensure clear and effective communication concerning business issues with all direct reports.
- Strategic Implementation: Understand and execute the company’s strategic objectives, especially in fostering customer relationships to enhance repeat business.
