- Minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant professional experience, preferably in Bangladesh
- Proven expertise in effective public, NGO and private for-profit sector FP and SRHR interventions; achieving results in improving FP availability through improved training and supervision
- Proven ability to provide technical assistance and support to the public sector in FP and SRHR services
- Software Applications: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
- Languages: Proven ability to write and speak using Bangla and English language.
- Communication and Influencing Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skill along with proven ability to influence others through diplomacy.
- Passion for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights: Commitment to family planning, reproductive health services, gender, maternal, child health services, and eradication of harmful traditional practices.
- Relationship Management: Demonstrated experience in management, coordination, teamwork, and planning skills, with proven ability to function effectively with multiple counterparts in the public, NGO and private for-profit sectors;

Responsibilities & Context
Summary: The Senior Technical Advisor- SRHR will provide technical inputs and project implementation support to the organization’s ongoing and anticipated projects. S/he will work closely with the country leadership team and in close collaboration with program teams. S/he will closely collaborate and consult with the government and non-government stakeholders to ensure that high quality evidence-based guidance and practices are integrated in the SRHR (e.g. Family Planning, Maternal and Newborn health) program design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
Job Roles:
- Technical Assistance: Provide high quality technical inputs to designing, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of SRHR programs.
- Quality Assurance: Works with the technical team to ensure that best practices for services and service integration are well documented, evaluated and poised for scale up. Coaches and builds teams to optimize staff performance programming, target setting and project workplan and scale-up.
- Liaison with MOH&FW: Together with the country team, liaise with the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Directorate General of Family Planning (DGFP), Directorate General of Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) and National Institute of Population Research and Training (NIPORT).
- Family Planning Compliance: Work as the country FP Compliance Focal person and provide technical assistance to the program teams to ensure adherence to Pathfinder’s and USG FP compliance policies and guidelines.
- Training: Design, develop and facilitate SRHR training/s for Programs and country teams.
- Resource Management: Maintain communication with Pathfinder US office technical advisors to build skills in FP, discuss and address challenges, and ensure that Pathfinder resources and approaches are being applied throughout the project.
- Reporting: Participate in country program quarterly and annual review meetings as well as report writing to reflect the implementation of the project.
- Representative Role: Represents Pathfinder International to external stakeholders and audiences at professional forums, meetings and conferences as assigned.
The position is assigned to Pathfinder’s Bangladesh country office.
