Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

We are looking for a Senior WordPress Engineer to develop, customize, and secure WordPress-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in WordPress theme customization, plugin development, and security hardening to ensure high-performance, scalable, and secure WordPress websites. This role requires deep technical knowledge of WordPress internals, PHP development, and modern security practices.

Job Description:

• Develop and customize WordPress themes for optimal user experience and performance.
• Build and extend WordPress plugins to add custom functionalities.
• Optimize website speed, SEO, and responsiveness using best practices.
• Enhance WordPress security by implementing firewalls, malware protection, and secure authentication.
• Troubleshoot WordPress issues, including compatibility, updates, and performance bottlenecks.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services with WordPress for extended functionality.
• Implement automation for deployment and backups using DevOps tools.
• Ensure compliance with WordPress coding standards and best practices.
• Monitor security vulnerabilities and implement patches and updates.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and security teams to improve WordPress solutions.
