• Strong understanding of keyword research, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and link building strategies.
• Familiarity with website analytics tools, content management systems (CMS), and HTML.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to manage and improve the search engine rankings for our website. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies, increasing organic traffic, and ensuring our website ranks highly on search engine results pages (SERPs). You will work closely with the marketing team to enhance the online visibility of Merit Tutors and drive growth through targeted SEO tactics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve keyword rankings.
• Conduct keyword research and implement on-page and off-page optimization.
• Analyze website performance and identify areas for improvement using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
• Optimize content for search engines, ensuring high-quality, engaging, and keyword-rich text.
• Collaborate with content creators to ensure content is optimized for SEO.
• Monitor competitors’ SEO strategies and industry trends to stay ahead of market changes.
• Build and manage backlinks to improve domain authority and website visibility.
• Conduct technical SEO audits and work with the web development team to implement necessary changes.
• Provide regular SEO performance reports and recommendations for ongoing improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, best practices, and algorithm changes.
