Additional Requirements

Sound knowledge of different servers in Linux and Windows environments.
Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VCenter , Hyper-V, or similar platforms.
In-depth knowledge of Windows Server administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Good understanding of database servers (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle) and their management.
Expertise in Active Directory and Domain Controllers, including setup, management, and troubleshooting.
Solid understanding of IIS and its configuration and management.
Good knowledge of storage devices and data management practices, including SAN, NAS, and related technologies.
Minimum knowledge of server hardware-level troubleshooting, including diagnosing and resolving hardware issues.
Experience in backup management solutions (e.g Veeam), including setup, configuration, and management.
Certification in relevant fields (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, VMware Certified Professional, CompTIA Server+).
Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments.
Familiarity with network infrastructure and security best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Manage performance of the team by leveraging skill sets of individual members towards meeting organizational objectives.

Oversees server issue resolution, analyzing and providing solutions for Operating System, Database and Hardware issues
Administer preventative maintenance, including server monitoring, applying and testing patches, and checking for space limitations
Manage the handling of data requests and extractions
Analyses and evaluates current interface configuration, user requirements, and optimizes server topologies.
Provides recommendations to HOD on design, layout and add-on technologies and customizations to Company server systems to provide efficiencies to business operations
Analyze and evaluate vendor products in sever equipment.
Writes clear, concise, and accurate documentation and provides training (i.e., work procedures, how to guides)
Design backup procedure and safeguard.
Ensure availability of all required services.
