  • Familiarity with donor reporting and compliance requirements.

  • Fluency in English and local languages.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Service Center, specifically focusing on SRH (Sexual and Reproductive Health), HIV, STI (Sexually Transmitted Infections), MHPSS (Mental Health and Psychosocial Support), GBV (Gender-Based Violence) case management and volunteer’s activities.
  • Coordinate and implement interventions targeting the key population at risk and Vulnerable Adolescents, Hijra community ensuring the delivery of appropriate services and support.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to local volunteers involved in program activities, ensuring their effective engagement and contribution.
  • Monitor and evaluate the program and financial activities of the Service Center to ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and objectives.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to Outreach Team, ensuring their alignment with program goals and targets.
  • Collaborate with the line manager to revise the Quarterly Activity Target, addressing any backlog activities or adjustments as required.
  • Prepare and submit timely work plan, progress reports, both monthly and quarterly, analyzing achievements and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Take necessary measures to address unachieved activities, providing feedback to the line supervisor for appropriate action.
  • Assess the overall performance of the clinic on a quarterly basis, reporting findings to the respective line supervisor.
  • Monitor and control the allocated budget, ensuring efficient and accountable utilization of resources.
  • Analyze client flow in both field and clinic settings, advising program supervisors and implementing measures to enhance performance.
  • Develop and facilitate the outreach/field program strategy, conducting continuous assessments of locations and target populations.
  • Create and manage duty rosters for outreach/field programs, ensuring regular and effective implementation of fieldwork and clinic activities.
  • Evaluate the performance of the Outreach Supervisor and Peer Educators, supporting them in resource management and achieving program objectives.
  • Regularly verify the position of petty cash and manage health products, including condoms, lubricants, and medicines.
  • Maintain and allocate fixed assets of the Service Center as per organizational guidelines.
  • Establish and maintain liaisons with other HIV/AIDS prevention organizations at the local level, updating activities as instructed by the head office.
  • Actively participate in workshops, seminars, and other related activities, representing the organization and keeping updated on relevant developments.
  • Maintain a professional and positive approach when dealing with the public and media regarding STI/HIV/AIDS issues and sexual health prevention, treatment, care, and support.
  • Organize monthly staff meetings, providing advance notice to all staff members.
  • Undertake any other assignments related to the project and organizational interests as assigned by higher authorities.
  • Dedicate to ensuring the safety and well-being of all team members, promoting and implementing safeguarding standards, and actively encouraging the reporting of any incidents in line with established procedures of SHEA.
