Requirements

Education

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electronics, Diploma in Engineering.

·Professional certification in IT is preferred, as is experience repairing hardware and software.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Overview:

Whiteshell Limited is seeking a motivated Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hardware and software systems, including desktops, laptops, IFP systems, and display solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise and excellent customer service skills, providing both on-site and remote support. Key responsibilities include managing RMA requests, performing routine maintenance, conducting installations, and ensuring systems integrate smoothly with existing setups. The role also involves inventory management and thorough documentation of all services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the IT hardware industry, a proven track record of meeting business goals, and a passion for overcoming challenges. Job Responsibilities:

·Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops.

·Perform routine maintenance and updates on desktops and laptops.

·Replace or repair defective components such as motherboards, screens, and keyboards.

·Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, assisting with technical queries and troubleshooting.

·Process and manage RMA requests for defective desktop and laptop equipment, coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers for RMA processing.

·Track and document RMA status, repairs, and resolutions, maintaining accurate records of all repairs and transactions.

·Install and configure software and hardware for desktops and laptops to company standards and customer specifications.

·Install and configure IFP systems, KIOSKS, digital signage, video wall panels, and AV equipment, ensuring proper integration with existing systems.

·Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on IFPs, digital signage, video walls, and projectors.

·Provide technical guidance, advice, and support on display solutions and PA systems, ensuring customer satisfaction.

·Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring timely restocking and accurate records.

·Conduct comprehensive testing, quality assurance, and documentation for all installations, repairs, and services.

·Maintain compliance with safety guidelines, industry regulations, and company policies.

·Stay updated with the latest technologies, participate in training, and contribute to improving service quality and processes.

·Perform any other tasks assigned by management to ensure the achievement of sales goals.
