Additional Requirements
- Having at least 7 to 10 years experience in operation, maintenance & management of HFO based fired power plant.
- Should be courageous, proactive, intelligent and vigilant.
Responsibilities & Context
- Plant start-up, operation, shutdown and emergency handling.
- Ensuring prudent, economic and safe operation of the plant in the assigned shift in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring and controlling all running equipment parameters following prudent operating practice.
- Data logging, Troubleshooting, issuing of safety work permits, coordinating with maintenance department.
- Maintaining and updating station operation records and prepare all required reports on plant operation & Shift handover and takeover properly.
- Directing supervise the operations personnel assigned to the shift on day to day activities of the plant.
- Assist in planning and scheduling the operations of the generating units in preparing the shift assignment of all personnel.
- Specially perform on switching switchgear of power plant substation in LV, MV and high voltage system.
- Issue work permit like cold work, hot work, lock out/tag out and isolation of any system as per requirement of safely maintenance work.
- Any other task as assigned by management.
