Responsibilities & Context
·Oversee and manage the operations of a specific shift or production line.
Coordinate and allocate tasks to shift personnel to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules.·
Monitor production processes, quality control, and productivity levels.·
Troubleshoot issues or problems that arise during the shift and take appropriate actions to resolve them.·
Maintain accurate shift records, including production reports, maintenance logs, and shift handover notes.·
Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for equipment, machinery, and facilities
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance needs and address them proactively.·
Manage maintenance budgets and expenditures, including the procurement of spare parts and supplies·
Monitor equipment performance and implement measures to optimize efficiency and reduce breakdowns·
Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, quality control, and logistics, to achieve production targets and resolve cross-functional issues.·
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
