Shift Incharge- Production (Polymer)

Context:

To ensure smooth and efficient production operations during the assigned shift by managing manpower, achieving production targets, maintaining housekeeping standards, and ensuring effective communication with team members and management.

Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for production activities on the shop floor during the assigned shift.
• Monitor machine operations and ensure optimum utilization of manpower and resources.
• Handle shift handover and takeover with proper documentation.
• Ensure target-wise production as per daily/shift plan.
• Monitor production output, quality, and downtime, and take corrective action as needed.
• Maintain proper records of production, wastage, and material usage.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness in the production area.
• Ensure all employees follow safety procedures and wear PPEs.
• Report any unsafe act or condition immediately to the management.
• Ensure good interaction and coordination with down-level employees.
• Motivate and guide operators and helpers for better productivity.
• Assist in training new employees in production processes and safety practices.
• Communicate effectively with maintenance, quality, and store departments for smooth operations.
