Responsibilities & Context
Order Processing: Review purchase orders (POs), check specifications for items like labels, buttons, zippers, and hangtags, and enter data into internal systems.
Sample Approval: Coordinate with the design and lab departments to get buyer approval for development and pre-production samples.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Communicate daily with production, planning, merchandising, and commercial/shipping teams to track progress.
Production Follow-Up: Monitor manufacturing status on the factory floor to prevent bottlenecks and ensure deadlines are met.
Matrix Management: Coordinating simultaneously between the Buyer (for artwork, tech-packs, and approvals), the Trim Supplier (for development and bulk production), and the Garment Factory (to ensure trims arrive before the factory’s cutting dates).
Quality & Delivery: Verify that finished trims match approved quality standards and manage dispatch logistics.
Coordinate closely with the production, planning, and delivery teams to ensure smooth order execution.
Monitor sales performance and consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Maintain accurate customer records, quotations, and sales documentation.
