As we embark on our new slaughterhouse project, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Slaughterhouse Manager/Specialist to oversee the installation of machinery and ensure the project meets all operational and regulatory standards.
Job Overview:
- The Slaughterhouse Manager/Specialist will be responsible for managing the installation of all mechanical systems and machinery related to the slaughterhouse. This role requires extensive knowledge and experience in slaughterhouse operations, including water treatment plants (WTP), effluent treatment plants (ETP), cooling systems, blast freezers, reverse osmosis (RO) plants, air compressors, and production-related materials for red and white meat. The successful candidate will ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation of all machinery and equipment in the slaughterhouse, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery and installation of machinery.
- Develop and implement operational protocols for the slaughterhouse, including the water treatment, effluent treatment, and cooling systems.
- Ensure the efficient operation of blast freezers and RO plants, optimizing processes to maintain product quality.
- Manage the installation and maintenance of air compressors and other production-related equipment.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team throughout the installation process.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Train and supervise staff on machinery operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to the installation process, including manuals, compliance reports, and maintenance schedules.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
