Responsibilities & Context

Bangla-German Sampreeti (BGS) a development organization implementing Integrated Development Programs in the different districts of Bangladesh with the financial support from different national & international donors. Its invite application from the suitable & interested candidates for the following positions of its Livelihood Projects (Three Years) in Tangail & Madhupur funded by Lichtbrücke e. V.

Working area: Madhupur & Tangail Sadar of Tangail District.

Job Responsibilities:

• Social worker will be responsible for the field mobilization, beneficiary and household selection, formation, community engagement, association formation, organizing training and workshop, distribution of start-up support, installation and savings collection, awareness building of targeted beneficiaries of the project.

• Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Social worker are the front-line staffs who will be responsible for operation and implementation of all field/community level project activities. The major activities of the Social Worker will be as follows:

• Social Worker will actively involve and implementation on beneficiary selection, association formation, IGA selection, start-up distribution, savings and installation collection, conduct group meeting etc.

• Social Worker will be responsible for conducting fortnightly issue-based dialogue sessions of the associations

• They will provide technical support to Income Generating and agro based activities of targeted associations

• Provide support to Program Offices – Institution building and Agriculture & to organize and conduct training

• Others:

• Moreover, carry out other project related duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by the BGS Authority.

• Additional Job Requirement: Perform any other duties that may be assigned by management.

Compensation & Other Benefits

• Salary and Benefits: Consolidated monthly salary Tk. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand).
