Summary

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
ISTQB Certification or any other relevant certifications in software testing are considered an advantage.

Experience with manual and automated testing tools
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Pytest, JMeter, JUnit, or TestNG is a plus
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Experience Requirements:

As a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through the planning, design, and execution of software testing procedures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and project managers, to identify software defects and ensure timely resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
Identify, document, and track software defects and work with software developers to resolve issues.
Perform manual and automated testing on software products.
Perform regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Review and analyze software documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with software development teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of software products.
Analyze and report software quality metrics to stakeholders.
Ensure that software meets quality standards and customer requirements before release.
Keep up to date with new testing tools, techniques, and industry standards.
Participate in the Agile/Scrum development process including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives
Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
Strong analytical skills for reporting and forecasting.
