About the role

We are looking for a engaging, self-driven technical pre-sales talent who are client oriented and

collaborative team players who enjoy achieving results underpinned by value-adding to clients through

impactful use cases and adoption paths to radically improve business outcomes and deliver real-world

impact.

As a Solution Consultant, you will partner with the sales team to discover and understand clients’ business

needs, design solutions and technology adoption roadmaps that leverage on the value of our geospatial

products and services. You will learn how geospatial analysis can solve problems and overcome challenges

by providing insight and critical decision for users in various industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and articulate clients’ goals and objectives and propose value propositions and solutions to

achieve desired outcomes.

• Support and guide the strategic vision of clients and prospects to grow the adoption of Esri’s solutions

and services, including through strategic geospatial roadmaps.

• Design best-in-class digital solutions with your team to identify and solve business challenges faced

by users and clients.

• Actively engage with working teams and senior executives in our clients’ organizations to discover,

understand and define their business needs.

• Produce qualify proposals to support client’s investment and budgeting decisions and processes.

• Work closely and synergistically with cross-functional teams, such as pre-sales and services teams, to

build the Company’s business.

• Partner with Sales and Services Teams to qualify and validate opportunities to build pipeline and

jointly meet sales goals.

• Proactively keep up to date on technology trends of ArcGIS and other strategic complementary

technologies.

• Actively support and promote company initiatives.

• Providing technical support for users as cases arise at events or through email and other online

communication channels.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors or masters in IT, CSE, Civil, EEE, GIS/Geography/Resource Management or related fields.

• 5 years of experience in developing, implementing, training the use of software solutions and

applications for enterprise users.

• Strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication skills, spoken, written and presentation.

• Effective time management skills and good attention to detail.

• Experience in technical scoping and proposal writing.

• A team player with a proactive mindset and attention to detail.

• Experience and positive attitude in working with cross-functional teams is essential.

• Previous experience in some or all of the following will be an advantage but not mandatory:

o Previously from technical Presales or similar roles.

o Working experience in a GIS related field.

o Knowledge of the ArcGIS Platform.
