Responsibilities & Context

Job Context: One Direction Commercial Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sourcing & Procurement officer (FMCG) to join our Supply Chain Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, procurement and supplier management in the FMCG sector, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze demand for FMCG products and prepare procurement plans.
• Source and procure raw materials, packaging materials and other supplies as required.
• Identify, evaluate and manage relationships with reliable local and international suppliers.
• Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and conduct bidding processes.
• Conduct cost analysis and prepare comparative statements for procurement approvals.
• Manage vendor negotiations to ensure the best quality and pricing.
• Monitor the entire procurement process to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Maintain procurement documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing and Production teams) to meet procurement needs.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels to ensure smooth operations.
