Job Context: One Direction Companies Limited is looking for a proactive and skilled Sourcing Engineer – Luggage & Bags to handle sourcing activities for high-quality luggage and bag products. The ideal candidate will focus on identifying reliable suppliers, ensuring quality materials, and maintaining cost-effectiveness in the procurement process.

Job Responsibilities:

• Source and procure high-quality materials for luggage and bags, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Identify and develop relationships with reliable suppliers locally and internationally.
• Conduct market research to assess new trends, materials and technologies in luggage and bag manufacturing.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with production, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure materials meet product specifications.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain a database of approved suppliers.
• Prepare and analyze procurement reports and cost estimates.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, sustainability practices, and company policies.
• Address sourcing-related challenges and implement solutions effectively.
• Regularly update the management team regarding market conditions and procurement status.
