Job Context: One Direction Companies Limited is looking for a dynamic and experienced Sourcing Engineer – Textile to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in sourcing high-quality textile products and materials (cloth) while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality and compliance with organizational standards. This position is crucial to supporting our supply chain and production needs by identifying and collaborating with reliable suppliers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate and source high-quality textile products and materials to meet company requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and industry trends in the textile sector.
• Negotiate contracts, prices and delivery terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value optimization.
• Evaluate supplier performance and compliance with quality standards, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and design, to meet sourcing requirements.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with business goals and minimize risks.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sourcing activities, contracts, and supplier evaluations.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations and sustainability practices in sourcing processes.
