  • Applicants having minimum 10 years of experience at senior managerial level, preferably as a Product Manager and Sourcing Operations in a direct retail operation, with Fashion merchandising related background.
  • Application with International experience and exposure will be preferred including previous experience sourcing in other markets.
  • This position is open to both Bangladeshi nationals and Expatriates, with the right credentials.

Responsibilities & Context

Summary of Key Functions:

This Sourcing Operations Manager is to ensure the efficient running of office across functions to achieve the KPIs defined by the Sourcing strategy; responsible for sourcing supplier strategy execution within Sourcing HUB in all matters of supplier communication, supplier performance management, issue resolution and ensuring product execution according to the Company requirements.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Communicate vision, strategy, and objectives across all levels.

  • Improve supplier chain performance (e.g., On-time Delivery, Quality, Price, compliance).

  • Optimize local office structure for company benefits.

  • Monitor and ensure budget conformity, identifying savings.

  • Foster a high-performance, teamwork-oriented culture.

  • Negotiate optimal cost and service with suppliers.

  • Collaborate with Product Development and Sourcing to source suppliers and analyze market trends.

  • Develop strategic sourcing strategies and business goals.

  • Maintain strong supplier relationships.

Functional Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of local sourcing markets (Bangladesh, Pakistan, India).

  • Strong understanding of apparel product, costing, timelines, capacity planning and value chain processes from concept to delivery

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.

  • Proven Leadership skills in managing diverse teams, people development and organization effectiveness.

  • Familiarity with procurement software, ERP systems, and data visualization tools

  • Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve operational issues

  • Excellent communication skills in English both written and oral.
