The Sous Chef specializing in Continental Cuisine at ZEN Restaurant is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations. This includes menu creation, food preparation, kitchen management, and staff supervision. The Sous Chef ensures that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation, maintaining the restaurant’s reputation for excellence in continental cuisine

  • Oversee the entire kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
  • Create and design innovative continental menus that reflect the restaurant’s style and vision.
  • Incorporate seasonal ingredients and trends into the menu.
  • Regularly update the menu to keep it fresh and exciting for guests.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality and consistency.
  • Develop and standardize recipes and portion sizes.
  • Monitor and maintain presentation standards for all dishes.
  • Oversee inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies.
  • Establish relationships with suppliers to ensure the best quality and prices.
  • Implement systems to minimize waste and manage food costs effectively.
