Under the project Brighter Life School, part of the Clinical Services and Research Division (CSRD), faith Bangladesh invites applications for the position of Special Education Teacher. This appointment will be made on a Fixed Term basis for 2 years, renewable depending on performance and availability of funds.
We are seeking a dedicated Special Educator with a strong commitment to professional ethics, a passion for the holistic development of children with special needs, and demonstrated behavioral competencies.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Services:

Assess students’ knowledge and skills to determine their needs.
Adapt general lessons to meet the needs of children with special requirements.
Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored for each student.
Analyze, arrange, and assign (3A) activities according to each student’s abilities.
Teach and mentor students as a class, in small groups, and one-on-one.
Implement IEPs, assess students’ performance, and monitor their progress.
Update IEPs throughout the school year as necessary.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators to discuss students’ progress.
Support students in transitioning between grades and preparing for life after school.

Professional Practice:

Uphold legal, ethical, and safety responsibilities of professional practice.
Communicate effectively with parents/caregivers, respecting their level of understanding and cultural background.
Develop and maintain productive relationships within and outside the organization.
