Requirements
Education
MBBS and MD/FCPS with Minimum 4 years’ experience/training in Pediatric & Neonatology Department.
Additional Requirements
- Medical degree in Pediatric & Neonatology and the successful completion of a residency and fellowship.
- A license and certification to practice neonatology.
- A willingness to work long hours and remain on-call for emergency situations.
- The ability to work under pressure and stress.
- Strong communication skills and patience and empathy towards patients and their families.
- Strong dedication and motivation for helping newborn infants.
Responsibilities & Context
- Responsible to implement total clinical activities of the Pediatric & Neonatology department under a Consultant.
- Responsible to manage and support all related clinical activities in the department in absence of consultant.
- Reporting of clinical activities and submit report to the Co-ordinator.
- To supervise the patient scheduling, medical records and data entry.
- Service delivery through good relations with patients, respect for the patient’s right, good relations with colleagues; and observance of professional ethical obligations.
- An adequate assessment of the patient’s condition, based on the history and physical examination.
- To provide for appropriate investigations and appropriate treatment and to keep clear, accurate, medical records about the relevant clinical findings.
