Master’s degree from a recognized university in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Animal Husbandry, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities & Context
Job Purpose:
The role will provide technical guidance, quality assurance, and field-level support to ensure the effective implementation of poultry and livestock interventions under the Ultra-Poor Graduation Programme. The incumbent will strengthen staff capacity through coaching, technical training, and evidence-based feedback; analyze field reports and observations to identify gaps in asset growth, productivity, market linkages, and service delivery; and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely technical support for programme participants. Through enhanced technical practices and effective field implementation, the position will contribute to sustainable asset development, increased income-generating opportunities, and improved livelihood outcomes for ultra-poor households.
Key Responsibilities:
Support to ensure effective and timely implementation of regional poultry and livestock support activities and strategies in line with programme standards.
Facilitate participant and staff training as guided by programme management and technical specialists.
Monitor asset quality, productivity and growth through field follow-up and home visits; identify challenges and recommend corrective actions.
Assess input requirements (vaccines, medicines, feed, fodder and ration packages) and coordinate timely availability through line management and service providers.
Build staff capacity on poultry and livestock practices through technical training, workshops, meetings, field demonstrations and on-the-job coaching.
Maintain liaison with District and Upazila Livestock Officers, BRAC programmes and relevant service providers to ensure required services.
Collect, review and analyze field reports on poultry and livestock, and initiate actions based on findings.
Apply technical guidance from the programme technical wing and escalate risks, service gaps or technical issues as required.
Identify context-specific innovations and improved practices that enhance productivity, resilience and participant income.
Participate in meetings and forums, providing technical inputs, learning and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
