Proven ability to build and profitably scale a solar or energy business.
Strong knowledge of rooftop solar, residential systems, battery storage, project financing and Bangladesh’s regulatory environment.
Excellent commercial, leadership, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
High standards of integrity, accountability and corporate governance.
Responsibilities & Context
SQ Group Of Companies produces all types of Electrical Wire & Cables, Transformers, Energy Saving Lights, Fan, Concrete & Wooden utility poles and also the leading importer of other electrical accessories.
SQ Group is seeking an experienced and commercially driven CEO to establish, lead and rapidly grow SQ Solar.
The business will offer complete solar-energy solutions, including:
Commercial and industrial rooftop solar.
Residential and home solar systems.
Hybrid solar and battery-storage solutions.
Solar irrigation, street lighting and specialized applications.
Solar products, components and large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute SQ Solar’s business strategy and growth plan.
Take full responsibility for sales, profitability, cash flow and P&L.
Build a strong pipeline of industrial, commercial, government, institutional and residential customers.
Lead project design, costing, financing, procurement, installation, commissioning and after-sales service.
Develop partnerships with technology suppliers, banks, investors, EPC companies and government agencies.
Build and lead high-performing sales, engineering, project and service teams.
Ensure quality, safety, regulatory compliance and timely project delivery.
Explore opportunities for local assembly and manufacturing within SQ Group.
