Sr. Electrician (Injection Moulding Machine, Generator & Utility System)

Requirements

Education

  • Diploma in Electrical
  • SSC
  • HSC
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering from any recognized institution.
  • S.S.C/ H.S.C (Additional technical certifications will be considered an advantage.)

Experience

    • 6 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry)

Additional Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, substation operation, and power distribution.
  • Hands-on experience with PLC, electrical control panels, SSRs, temperature controllers, and industrial automation systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively during emergency breakdown situations.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 6–10 years of practical experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
  • Experience in Injection Moulding Machine electrical maintenance is highly preferred.
  • Experience in substation operation, generator maintenance, and utility system management is mandatory.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Location: Factory

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor HT/LT substation equipment (transformers, VCB, ACB).
  • Handle switching operations (HT/LT) as per safety procedures.
  • Maintain protection systems
  • Power Distribution & Panel Management
  • Monitor voltage, current, load balance, and power factor.
  • Handle heaters, thermocouples, temperature controllers, SSR, PLC I/O signals of injection molding m/c.
  • Ensure proper functioning of hydraulic motor, barrel heater zones, and control panels.
  • Generator & Utility System Operation
  • Preventive & Running Maintenance
  • Safety & Compliance (ABC License)
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Strong knowledge of substation operation & industrial electrical systems.
