Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a relatedField (preferred).
Experience
- 2 to 3 years
Additional Requirements
- Experience: Age is not an issue, but the applicants should/must have experience in Freight forwarding industry.
- Expected experience: minimum 2 to 3 Years.
- Proven experience in Freight Forwarding operations, with a focus on handling Air Freight and Ocean Freight Operation from Booking to Last mile Delivery.
- Strong Networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships within the Shipping and Airlines industry.
- Knowledge of IGM and EGM
- Knowledge of working with Airport Operation Team on handling Freight Forwarders shipment (preferred)
- Proficiency in English (both written & spoken).
Responsibilities & Context
- The Applicants should have experience in Freight Forwarding.Irrelevant industry shall not be considered.
- Handling Air freight and Ocean Freight business independently
- Coordinate with Clients and Internal teams to determine pricing for Freight Forwarding services, ensuring competitiveness and profitability, if required
- Check Documents for Import shipment and Ensure correct documentation for Import manifest submission, Send Arrival notice and Invoice to the Customer, Issue Delivery Order.
- Keep Track and Trace of the shipments.
- Coordinate the Entire Export process e.g- Booking, BL preparation, SI submission, On time Pre-alert to relevant stakeholders, Invoice preparation etc.
- Maintain Daily Shipment Tracking record.
- Maintain Proper Correspondents with Customs, Shipping line, C&F and other concerned offices whenever required.
- Visit Airport Cargo Village for Operational follow up, if required
- Visit Chittagong Offdock /Depot for Operational follow up, if required.
