Responsibilities & Context

Job Context

We are looking a dynamic and responsible “Sr. Executive/ Assistant Manager” in Industrial Engineering Department for our Paramount Textile PLC situated at Sreepur, Gazipur which is a siter concern of paramount group.

Job Responsibilities

Analyze and optimize production workflows to minimize downtime and waste, considering constraints and opportunities.
Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements in line with the textile industry’s specific needs.
Evaluate machine and labor capacity to maximize resource utilization.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity in woven fabric production.
Conduct root cause analyses for variances and implement corrective actions promptly.
Develop strategies to balance workloads and maintain efficient production schedules while addressing the unique challenges.
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in production processes without compromising quality, considering labor and material costs.
Recommend machinery layouts and upgrades for optimal performance within cost-effective frameworks.
Maintain accurate records of efficiency metrics for management reporting, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
Identify and address issues impacting quality, taking preventive measures to minimize defects and meet buyer expectations.
Provide technical expertise to resolve operational challenges in production, addressing issues.
Support the implementation of new technologies and automation to improve productivity within budget constraints.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and labor regulations as per Bangladeshi law.
Prepare and submit detailed reports on IE activities, improvements, and outcomes to the management.
Any other tasks assigned by management.
