- M.Sc /B.Sc in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Environmental Science from any reputed institution.

- Working experience of Chemical Management in any Garments/Industries will be an added qualification.
- Strong communication, persuasion and presentation skills, both written and oral English.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
Responsibilities & Context
- Preparing proper chemical inventory as per buyer requirement.
- Collecting, record keeping and up to date all documents as like MSDS,TDS,ZDHC declaration,Blusign certificate,GOTS certificate, Eco passport etc.
- Checking all chemical level status in ZDHC gateway and record keeping.
- Identifying and take necessary action for phase out noncompliance chemicals/ ZDHC Zero level chemicals.
- Using digital chemical management BHive apps and report preparation.
- Preparing all chemicals Bangla MSDS and ensuring the implementation in work place.
- Preparing all chemical risk assessment as per MSDS.
- Ensuring FIFO policy in work place and managing the proper storing of chemical.
- Conducting chemical Handling training to workers and also MRSL/RSL training to management.
- Updating all chemical related policy and procedure.
- Ensuring to comply all buyers chemical management related COC requirements.
- Ability to handle Chemical Management audit as like, BEPI, Environmental conformity assessment.
- Demonstrates exceptional innovative thinking and a forward-looking approach to environmental sustainability, developing creative solutions to promote eco-friendly practices and long-term resource efficiency.
- Works to assist fulfill environment and chemical management system according to brands’ guidelines and national and international standards.
- Should possess a solid understanding of recycling, reusing, and fostering a sustainable environment.
- Fulfill the requirements of the Environment module of HIGG INDEX FEM Version 4.0 and collect data monthly, annually, and bi-annually as per demand of the guideline.
- Analyze environmental performance data and prepare detailed reports for management.
- Understand reports of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Management Planning (EMP).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Take plans for improving the parameters on environmental assessment.
- Maintain and manage required environmental permits, reports and certifications.
- Take part in developing newer policies on environmental management and ensure the practices as per policy.
- Analytical mindset for monitoring environmental data and implementing solutions.
- Provide training to employees on environmental practices and compliance while promoting awareness across the organization.
- Maintain regular and effective communication with utility department, maintenance department, production and administration.

- Collaborate with internal teams, regulatory bodies and external consultant to enhance environmental development and performance.
- Ensure good practice in chemical storage, handling, secondary containment, segregation disposal, and special care of sensitive and hazardous chemicals.
- Generate and implement befitting ideas to improve the conditions of environmental efficiencies.
- Responsible for Periodical test such as drinking water, wastewater, air emission, and noise level tests as per regulations.
- Ensure best chemical management practices in the factory-related section.
- Ensure Buyer code of conduct of Chemical, Maintain environmental safety, safe chemical handling, and waste management policy.
- Monitor ETP wastewater discharge, evaluate the environmental parameters as per DOE standard.
- Understand the ZDHC, Oeko Tex, GOTS, GRS, IPE Gateway, and other chemical and dyes-related issues.
- Responsible for all environmental certification and renewal.
- Ensure environmental laws and rules are maintained by all departments of the company.
- Ensuring the proper Management of natural resources while Protecting and Conserving the Environment.
