Responsibilities & Context
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Executive/Executive in Business Development with a strong background in science. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of technical products and services. This role involves preparing and delivering technical presentations, working closely with customers and engineers, securing orders, and meeting monthly sales targets.
Technical Presentations:
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers, explaining the functionality, benefits, and applications of our products and services.
- Tailor presentations to meet the specific needs and understanding levels of diverse customer groups.
Customer and Engineer Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with customers and engineering teams to ensure our equipment meets the required system specifications and performance standards.
- Facilitate clear communication between customers and engineers to address any technical concerns or customization requests.
Sales and Order Management:
- Secure orders by effectively communicating the value and benefits of our products.
- Ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and are delivered according to the agreed timelines.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to gain their trust and acceptance.
- Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and address any post-sale issues.
Product Recommendations:
- Recommend new and improved products to customers based on their needs and industry trends.
- Explain how these products can be more cost-effective and beneficial for their operations.
Sales Targets and Lead Generation:
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Visit industries and potential clients to collect sales leads and identify new business opportunities.
