Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Supply Chain Management
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- PGDSCM will be an added advantage
Experience
- 4 to 6 years
Additional Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles
- Prior experience in restaurant sector procurement—including food item purchasing, vendor management, and logistics—is highly preferred
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities & Context
Position Overview
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Executive- Procurement to join our team in Gulshan, Dhaka. The ideal candidate will manage local procurement activities, specializing in restaurant and office supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Lead the sourcing and procurement for Restaurant and office supplies.
- Raw food materials, kitchen equipment, packaging, and hygiene products for Restaurant.
- Food-grade packaging materials (foil, pouch, carton, label), and related consumables Food & Beverage.
- Identify and onboard reliable vendors from restaurant and office supplies , ensuring consistent quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery.
- Negotiate with local suppliers for food-grade raw materials and packaging items, minimizing cash transactions and optimizing lead times.
- Maintain a vetted supplier database focusing on restaurant compliance and office supplies quality standards, including food safety and handling protocols.
- Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality concerns, shortages, or inventory mismatches
Operational Execution
- Receive and verify purchase requisitions from restaurant operations and office supplies.
- Collect quotations, prepare comparative statements, and facilitate approval processes.
- Generate and manage Purchase Orders / Work Orders in the ERP system, ensuring accurate documentation and timely procurement.
- Ensure adherence to approved specifications to minimize rejection rates and maintain quality standards for both restaurant and tea related products.
- Process supplier bills in accordance with company policy and coordinate with Accounts and other departments for timely submission.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Maintain regular communication with suppliers and internal teams, including SCM, Production, QC, Accounts, HR, and Restaurant Operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement activities with operational goals, production plans, and budget constraints.
- Monitor vendor payments and intervene when necessary to ensure supplier satisfaction and continuity of supply.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze procurement data and vendor feedback to identify risks in restaurant and tea supply chains, such as spoilage, seasonal shortages, or price volatility
- Recommend corrective actions to improve sourcing efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize cost in both restaurant and food & beverage (tea) operations
- Support management with ad hoc tasks, including vendor audits, cost-saving initiatives, data analysis, and process improvement activities
