Additional Requirements
- Minimum of 5-7 Years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and logistics planning.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in both Bengali and English.
- Knowledge of local and international supply chain regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities & Context
- Source and procure materials, products, and services as per company requirements.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet the sales demand while minimizing excess stock.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Implement inventory control techniques to optimize storage space and reduce holding costs.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers and sales channels.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Handle any logistics issues or delays and resolve them promptly.
- Collaborate with the sales team to forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly.
- Ensure that products are available for sales campaigns and promotions.
- Provide regular updates to the sales team regarding inventory status and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to supply chain operations.
- Assist in internal and external audits related to supply chain activities.
- Mentality to work in duty roaster schedule.
