Responsibilities & Context
- Manage store operations efficiently, ensuring smooth handling of raw materials, finished goods, and other inventory items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through manual logs and ERP/software systems.
- Implement inventory control measures to prevent stock shortages, overstocking, and wastage.
- Monitor and coordinate stock movement between different departments (procurement, production, and dispatch).
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and categorization of all materials.
- Work closely with the merchandising team to ensure timely ordering of raw materials and supplies.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards in store management.
- Generate inventory reports and provide insights for demand forecasting and cost reduction.
- Train and supervise store staff to maintain efficiency in operations.
- Track inventory during transfers between warehouses.
