Responsibilities & Context
We are looking for competent personnel for the post of “Sr. Manager/AGM-Warehouse” for one of the largest woven and denim fabric manufacturers in Bangladesh. The incumbent must have initiative, experience and drive to deliver high-quality results in terms of leading overall textile factory’s warehouse management.
- Look after the woven fabric store, yarn store, dyes chemical store and spare parts store. Ensure the entire activities of fabric store such as safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch.
- Supervise the daily receiving, issuing documents of order booking and requirements, including day-to-day store functions as per the SOP.
- Ensure proper store compliance regarding goods inbound & outbound, warehouse management, safety and security within the store area.
- Check and supervise the daily receiving, issuing reports of the store.
- Monitor and maintain all required records, registers, ledgers, & MIS reports of the store as well as inventory bin cards.
- Liaison with respective departments for each & every aspect related to store activities.
- Make sure the inventory is controlled properly by using ERP software.
- Prepare a monthly stock report and send it to the concerned department.
- Monitor the MRR, delivery challan and gate pass.
- Follow-up with the suppliers for day-to-day requirements, fixing the timing for issue and receiving the materials, receiving Indent.
- Keep costs and other overheads within the budgeted limit.
- Ensure safety stock of all the stores.
