Requirements

Education

• Masters, Bachelor of Science (BSc)

• B.Sc. Engineering in IPE/Textile from reputed public or private university.

Experience

• 10 to 12 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Garments, Textile, Dyeing Factory

Additional Requirements

• Age 35 to 40 years

• At least 10-12 years experience in Garments Planning.
• Having experience on Fastreact Planning software will get preference.

Responsibilities & Context

• Responsible for effective Production planning and efficient implementation.
• Ensure accurate & optimal capacity planning, while ensuring cost reduction & increased profitability.
• Analyze production capacity and line availability to optimize resource utilization.
• Prepare and update capacity plan for upcoming months & provide info of open capacity and over capacity to merchandising regular basis.
• Review monthly production plan of sewing, cutting, finishing with capacity & strength along with ensuring timely shipment target and dispatch to all concern.
• Figure out deviation between planned and actual production and assist in making future plan.
• Provide the manpower requirement details as per the production plan to the HR department for recruitment if needed.
• Provide Machinery requirement in Line loading Plan & issue the total machinery requirement to the maintenance department along with the line loading plan.
• Prepare monthly shipment plan and make follow up to happen.
• Make weekly inspection schedule based on plan and production status & make follow up daily.
• Monitor order progress status regular basis to ensure on time production and shipment.
• Monitor Order status & conduct regular schedule meeting with merchandising & marketing for order planning.
• Track order from fabric booking to shipment through fabric receiving, cutting, print and embroidery, production etc.
• Prepare fabric requirement plan and coordinate with textile team to ensure on time fabric delivery to cutting.
• Ensure style wise fabric & accessories in house as per plan.
• Track of fabric & trims in-house to ensure the input on time as per the plan.
• Make schedule of working hours for sewing, finishing, cutting on daily basis and declare to all concern.
• Coordinate with merchandising team for order qty and shipment date changement issues and make adapt in planning.
• Monitor and reduce planning-related bottlenecks and delivery failures.
• Ensure Proper utilization of man, machine and materials by doing effective planning.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the production planning and control team.
