Additional Requirements

Minimum 8-10 years of practical experience with specialization in Biomedical Instrumentation in which 2 years as a Manager or Equivalent post will be considered. Candidate having Hospital experience will get preference.

Responsible for the proper functioning of all medical equipment of hospital for 24×7.
Installs new equipment by establishing, adjusting, calibrating and testing performance.
Drawing up a periodic maintenance & routine servicing schedule for all medical equipment.
Keeping up-to-date service histories on all biomedical equipment.·
Planning for optimal availability of medical equipment, spares & consumables.
Calls for the special equipment service, evaluates service contracts and maintains equipment inventories.
Arranging standby / loaner medical equipment or spares in case of repair delay.
Guide biomedical engineers/Technician while solving major problem.
Training on biomedical equipment by providing equipment operation demonstrations, instructing other healthcare staff in use and care of equipment and answering questions.
Arranging for special training for biomedical engineers/Technician as may be required in case of life saving medical equipment.
Liaising with medical equipment supplier and service provider for getting proper service support.
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing, and expediting orders, and verifying receipt spares for front line technical support of medical equipment.
