Summary

Education

Minimum 12-15 years of experience in a managerial role within the mechanical department of a spinning mill industry.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, particularly spinning machinery.
Experience in handling Diesel and Gas-based power plant operations and maintenance is preferable.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
Proficient in using standard software tools for mechanical engineering and maintenance.
Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations.

Job Context : We are seeking a suitable candidate with experience as a Mechanical Engineer in Spinning Mills.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

Lead the mechanical maintenance department in the spinning mill, overseeing the operation and upkeep of all mechanical equipment and machinery.
Develop and implement effective preventive and predictive maintenance plans to ensure minimal downtime.
Diagnose complex mechanical issues and implement corrective actions to maintain uninterrupted production.
Coordinate with the production, electrical, and quality control teams to ensure optimal performance of spinning machinery.
Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring their technical development and adherence to safety standards.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of new machinery, ensuring it meets the technical specifications and production needs.
Monitor and maintain the inventory of critical spare parts, ensuring availability for maintenance and repairs.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations in all mechanical operations.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase machine efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Provide technical input for capital projects and machine upgrades, collaborating with senior management on budgeting and decision-making.
