Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university
Experience
- At least 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry)
Additional Requirements
- Age 35 to 45 years
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in any Steel Building Manufacturing, Steel Structure Fabrication Manufacturing, or Hot Dip Galvanizing (HDG) Plant / Galvanization Production Process, in Bangladesh or abroad
- Practical experience in large-scale factory production will be highly preferred.
- Experience in Steel Structure / HDG Plant will be a strong advantage.
- Good communication skills, Negotiation Skills & Target-Oriented.

Geo Steel (BD) Ltd. is a leading steel building manufacturing company. We are looking for a highly experienced and competent Production Manager to lead and control overall production activities of our Steel Building Manufacturing, Steel Structure Fabrication, and Hot Dip Galvanizing (HDG) Factory. The position requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and hands-on experience in industrial steel production.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and control overall factory production operations
- Ensure steel building and steel structure manufacturing as per approved drawings and specifications
- Supervise fabrication processes, including cutting, drilling, welding, fitting, painting, and galvanizing
- Manage production planning, manpower allocation, machinery utilization, and raw materials
- Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and factory discipline
- Coordinate with design, quality control, maintenance, and store departments
- Monitor machine performance, preventive maintenance, and minimize downtime
- Reduce production wastage and improve efficiency and productivity
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management
- Ensure timely completion and delivery of production targets
- Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time
