Responsibilities & Context

We are looking for potential candidates for the position of Sr. Merchandiser/ Merchandiser. We are recognized as leading garments export company in Bangladesh. There will be 106 employees and manufacturing casual, knit, denim and kids wear. We invite energetic and results oriented professionals with the proven employment track records to work under friendly and highly professional working culture.

Responsibilities:

• Overall follow-up, i.e. product development to shipment.
• Make perfect costing, sourcing of trims & accessories, fabrics to be in house before bulk production starts.
• Pricing, negotiation and order confirmation.
• Monitor sample development and production to meet buyer requirements.
• Prepare Time and action plan (TNA) and also sourcing plan with execution.
• Communicating with Buyer & supplier for technical clarification, when required.
• Need to proactively inform to head of merchandising up to date on any exceptions.
• Follow up & Coordination with Production, Quality and Commercial Department and on time shipments.
• Follow up with planning/production team & ensure shipment move on time.
• Ordering and making sure all fabrics and accessories are in housed on time for production.
• Take care of all aspects of quality from initial to final stage.
• Follow up on all production and keep merchandising team informed about the progress.
• Must have capability to analyze the product details.
• Must have experience for production process for all circular knit product.
