Responsibilities & Context

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement within the manufacturing or production processes.
• Conduct time and motion studies to analyze work methods, identify bottlenecks, and optimize workflow to improve productivity.
• Establish standard time values for operations and tasks through methods such as time studies, predetermined time systems, or work sampling.
• Assist in developing production plans and schedules based on capacity, resources, and customer demands to ensure timely and efficient production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize factory layouts, ensuring efficient flow of materials, equipment, and personnel.
• Assist in determining labor requirements, staffing levels, and skill sets needed for efficient production operations.
• Responsible for making Monthly Capacity Plan and production plan of the orders in consultation and coordination with marketing, IE, merchandising, production, and others relevant team.
• Set up and Review Process for Improvement of Production, Input and Output Plan, Training of workers, Calculate SMV for production planning and Line balancing.
• Make monthly projection for marketing and make monthly production plan for plant and also monitoring.
• Making the daily basis planning and line balancing as per the layout.
• Responsible for monitoring Plan vs actual production and react accordingly.
• Forecasting target for daily and monthly & work with team to achieve the target and monitor hourly production record as set.
• Resource utilization.
• Make cost SMV for marketing and also make bulk SMV for production floor.
• Make operation chart and operation breakdown sheet for plant.
• Implement IE tools and techniques.
• Candidate will be responsible for making effective monthly production plan/ advance plan of the orders in consultation and coordination with Marketing and Merchandising, production head, & management team.
• Reviewing production plan with capacity and strength along with ensuring timely shipment through strong production follow-up.
• Order status monitoring & regular schedule meeting with Merchandising, production & fabrics department for order Planning & proper line allocation of the styles.
• Ensure the accurate & optimal capacity planning, while ensuring cost reduction & increased profitability.
• Manage production planning staff and scheduling of raw material to meet production schedules.
• Utilize full factory capacity to ensure shipments on time.
