Responsibilities & Context
Project Management:
Oversee all on-site construction activities.Ensure that the project is progressing according to the schedule and budget.Coordinate with the Project Manager to plan and implement project schedules.
Site Coordination:
Supervise subcontractors and laborers.Coordinate and manage daily site operations.Ensure all materials and resources are available as needed.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets specifications and quality standards.Identify and resolve any issues or defects in workmanship.Ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Health and Safety:
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.Address any safety concerns immediately.
Communication:
Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication.Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and other relevant parties.Facilitate coordination between different trades and subcontractors.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, including work progress, materials used, and any issues encountered.Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports to the Project Manager.Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
