• Good knowledge & experience in apparel manufacturing and retail
• Ideally previous related work experience/internships in sustainability, supply chain, product development, fabric/raw material, and corporate social responsibility in the apparel industry preferred
• Up to date with the latest sustainability trends, best practices, and textile processes.
• Ability to build clear, confident, positive communication with company colleagues and suppliers with the ability to form relationships, influence, and work collaboratively across the business
• Technology skills and experience to develop robust tracking
• To have strong knowledge on Social Compliance, Labour Law & Rules, Factory Act, Fire Act, ILO conventions, Buyer’s code and conduct pertaining to protocols in RMG & Textiles industry.
• Good interpersonal, influencing, listening, organizational, presentation and decision-making skills
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure, quickly and efficiently

Responsibilities & Context

• Plan and execute buyer wise quality and fulfill buyer’s requirements.
• Follow up and execute and ensure overall quality requirements and timelines without fail.
• Monitor and control quality parameters as well as maintain data as per production.
• Liaison with factories on all production related areas and assist in troubleshooting
• Ensure Inline inspection, Midline inspection & FRI inspection is compiled to Buyer inspection standard
• Conduct pre-shipment inspection and issue report
• Ensure inspection report, on-site checking and related photos are properly documented
• Accurate and clear inspection reporting
• Take charge of overall of quality assurance functions of delivering products and responsible for the quality of the apparels produced
• Find problems in garments and make root cause analysis of defects
• Handle quality assurance procedure in a way that ensures minimum involvement of time, manpower and other resources while delivering the optimum quality
• Audit following areas of garment manufacturing processes: Roaming QA audit, End line Audit, Day final Audit.
• Take the responsibility for assuring the lines are following technical specifications (AQLs: Acceptable Quality Level) and make sure that OQLs (Observed Quality Level) in the line is in line with quality practices.
• Provide train and educate to quality & production personnel, maintain the needed quality requirements throughout the production processes strictly following the specifications
• Responsible to take immediate corrective actions and solve the problems.
• The applicant shall possess a leadership quality and ability to run the office and supervise the factory independently. Persons with required experience in same line of industry may apply.
• E-mail & verbal communication capacity with buying technical team.
• Bulk fabric shade continuity, GSM, shrinkage, color fastness standard testing etc.
• Fit, PPS, TOP & Shipment Sample check and submission to customer.
• Size set check from factories, pre-production meeting (checking all necessary information details / focus areas) & trial production Fabric / trims issues, production actual status both garments required processing issues, garment quality issues, etc.
• Working hand-in-hand with Merchandising Department by providing them on time information’s / getting actual production status & quality issues.
• To attend all buyer meetings related to quality and shipment and will fulfill their requirements.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, analyze problems, detect root causes and resolve all issues;
• Establish SOPs for production and preparatory processes to get right first-time quality from each process.
• Maintain effective communications with members of the buying, merchandising and production, planning, CAD, and some other departments.
• Identify quality issues and analyze complex problems; recommend and implement preventive and/or corrective actions.
