Responsibilities & Context

  • Lead and manage the QA department, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce quality standards and procedures across all production stages.
  • Ensure that headwear products meet client specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with production, R&D, and design teams to address quality concerns and find solutions.
  • Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process production, and ensure that all production processes are compliant with quality specifications and guidelines.
  • Manage and improve inspection tools, procedures, and techniques to achieve higher quality control standards.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement of production processes, identifying areas for cost reduction, quality enhancement, and efficiency gains.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis for quality defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to assess effectiveness of quality control measures.
  • Manage and mentor the QA team, ensuring adequate training and skill development.
  • Establish clear performance expectations for team members, providing regular feedback and evaluations.
  • Foster a culture of quality awareness across all levels of the factory.
  • Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure that raw materials meet quality standards before they enter production.
  • Conduct periodic audits of suppliers to ensure consistency in material quality and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality audits, inspections, and test results.
  • Prepare and present detailed quality reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements related to headwear manufacturing.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints related to product quality in a timely manner.
  • Implement feedback loops to integrate customer insights into the production and quality processes.
