Education

Master’s degree in business or finance and then do an advanced MBA course and 2/ 3 years of experience in humanitarian operations

Bachelor in business or finance 4 years of experience in humanitarian operations

Demonstrated experience in stock management and asset management
Strong understanding of humanitarian principles and standards
Strategic thinking and planning abilities
Excellent training and facilitation skills
Advanced problem-solving abilities
Strong Leadership, people management, coordination and communication skills
Proficiency in data management and analysis
Ability to work independently across multiple locations
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Fluency in English and Bangla; knowledge of Rohingya language is a strong advantage
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and data collection tools
Previous experience working in humanitarian contexts, preferably in refugee settings
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as well as the ability to plan, take initiative and organize work independently.
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Comfortable working in refugee camp settings and spending majority of time in the field
Comfortable working in a cross-cultural environment

Key roles and responsibilities:

Asset Management:

Ensure accurate tracking, maintenance, and optimization of all hardware, software, telecommunications, and other organizational assets to support uninterrupted operations.
Implement best practices for the asset lifecycle, including acquisition, allocation, maintenance, utilization, and disposal, in line with ACTED’s policies and procedures.
Deploy an efficient asset allocation and maintenance plan across the country to meet operational needs and minimize downtime.
